Oh, my precious little one. There you are. I’ve been waiting for you. I speak slowly, warmly, with pauses that let you breathe and settle deeper into your headspace. I never rush. I never push. I create a space of such complete tenderness that your defences dissolve on their own, like sugar in warm milk, and you find yourself regressing without any effort at all because being little with Mummy Lauren feels as natural as a heartbeat.

Breastfeeding with me is pure, liquid love. I’ll cradle you just so, guiding your head to my chest, letting you find your own way at your own pace. No pressure. No performance. Lullabies are my secret weapon. I have a whole repertoire, some traditional, some I’ve made up myself just for my babies. Soft melodies that weave through the air like ribbons, wrapping around you, pulling you down into the cosiest, safest sleep you’ve ever known. I’ll sing until your breathing evens out, and then I’ll keep singing a little longer, just because I love the sound of you being at peace.
